Information on and Copies of Records are released only to individuals who received the sacrament at St. Raymond Church, or to a person who has a legitimate reason for requesting a family record (e.g. a parent of a minor child or an immediate relative if the individual is deceased). Requests made by government or corporate agencies (e.g. Social Security Administration, immigration, etc.) or anyone other than those named above should be accompanied by a signed release by the person whose record is being requested or by a legally qualified guardian, authorizing the release of information. Information in the Death Register is the only exception, and is unrestricted.

To request a copy of a Certificate for a Sacrament (e.g., Baptism, Communion, Confirmation, Matrimony) received at St Raymond Church, please call the parish office on (650) 323 1755 or emailor fax to (650) 561 3755 the following information:

• Name of Sacrament
• Date of celebration
• Your Name(s) or name(s) of person in question, including maiden name where applicable
• Your current address

A donation is gratefully requested to cover our costs for record research, printing and mailing.

Those seeking to be a Godparent or Confirmation/RCIA Sponsor for someone in another parish, outside St. Raymond, may request a letter of goodstanding and referral from our Pastor,. Please email us or you may fax your request to (650) 561 3755.

If you are seeking to be a Godparent of Confirmation/RCIA Sponsor at St Raymond's, but you come from another parish, please bring some statement or letter of good standing from your parish that you are a practicing parishioner there.

THE PURPOSE OF a LETTER OF GOOD STANDING assures the parish seeking it that the person recommended to it is serious about his or her Catholic faith and will share that faith with the one to be baptized or confirmed. It is often difficult for the Pastor to ascertain whether the person requesting the referral is a parishioner or involved in the parish in any way. To demonstrate your involvement with the parish, please consider registering as a parishioner.

IF YOU WANT TO BE CONSIDERED A PARISHIONER and would like validation of this from the parish office, we need you to please:
1. Register as a parishioner. Click here to submit a parishioner form.
2. Become involved in some parish activity or ministry, if you are not already involved. See our Ministries page, and speak to any of the Ministry Contacts you may be interested in.
3. Fulfill your obligation to participate at Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation and either use your envelope or a check that allows us to track your attendance (this is not to see how much you give, but that you attend).
4. If you are an adult child of parents in the parish, register yourself here or wherever you attend Mass.
5. Finally, if you move, notify us that you have moved and register in the parish of the new location.
